CrossFit, Mental Fortress
It is well known that CrossFit training is training that physically gets much improvement after a minimum period of a few weeks.
- Improvement in BMI (body mass index) as it promotes weight loss.
- The weight loss is largely body fat part way.
- Increases muscle mass.
- Improves aerobic capacity and resistance work.
Far longer it seems the perfect sport because the main goal of many people who begin physical activity is to lose fat and gain muscle. But besides the physical training, more capabilities in CrossFit train the mind.
Constancy is trained in this sport. What exactly? The dictionary says it is firmness and perseverance mood resolutions and purposes.
And it is one of the facets that trains with the sport. Continuing to push through workouts that can be unattractive, you do not like the number of repeats, the movements themselves, the number of rounds … for one reason or several. Take for example a typical CrossFit wod: Karen.
This is wod wall ball 150 shoots (releases the medicine ball against the wall and coming to a preset height) in the shortest possible time. 9kg ball boys and 6kg for girls.
Who would you like to do 150 repetitions can a movement? You do not even need that you do not like the Wall Balls to not like this workout.
Imagine if above you do not like this particular exercise (as happens to a server). Well, what happens to you is that during the 150 repetitions you say several times, “I may not” change to “do not want to make as many” a “if they do I clear that I am also able” to “come let’s clear that you can”.
And when you finish training, even if you’ve struggled with your mind while physical exertion, will have been strengthened as an athlete.
Crossfit helps to mentalize yourself
